I've always been fascinated by the drive and ambition of my fellow young and up & coming African American creative artists and strategic business peers and associates. I'm a strong believer that the only way we can succeed as a community is by working together and supporting one another in our various career and professional endeavours.
Starting at the beginning of this year I decided to dedicate myself to making those in the metaverse and in society aware of all of the talent that is in our community. Positive and effective brothas and sistas that are actually doing something in life and making an impact not only in their respective industries but also within their own community.
The sole purpose of this medium will be to build awareness by actively communicating news, announcements, events, and the many successes and achievements of the up & coming young professionals in our community. I firmly believe everyone needs a voice and a supporter to encourage them to keep on moving forward. This platform will be that voice and this platform will be their cheerleader!
To set the stage for what is to come, let me DEFINE what I perceive as a creative artist, strategic business professional and the young and up & coming.
- Creative Artists aka The Creatives = Musicians, Fashion Designers, Painters, Sculptors, Interior Designers, Makeup Artists, etc.
- Strategic Business Professionals = Lawyers, Accountants, Finance Professionals, Physicians, Architects, HR Professionals, Hospitality Professionals, Consultants, Food & Beverage Professionals, Entrepreneurs, etc.
- Young, Up & Coming = Career driven professionals ranging in the ages of 25 to 37.
This platform will be constantly evolving and developing. The scope of this medium will initially focus on the NYC Metro market and will widen to include other markets as this platform continues to develop. But for right now, I want to focus on providing an opportunity to cast the spotlight on those mentioned above.
